TRENTINO MTB: ENTRIES OPEN FROM JANUARY 01, 2012. CHECK IT OUT!

TRENTINO MTB 2012

A mountain bike circuit challenging to do, but still accessible to most people. Trentino MTB fits the bill. Trentino region in North-eastern Italy is an alpine area where mountain biking has always been popular, local people and tourists have always showed huge passion to mtb activities and always enjoyed practicing mtb at any level.  With its characteristic valleys, wild forests and spectacular plateaus, Trentino offers the perfect site for outdoor sports and it has been hosting some of Italy’s most appreciated and renowned mtb events for years. The Trentino MTB Challenge is one of them, a seven race mountain bike series held since 2009. Back then, the series consisted of five races that were increased by one in 2010, and by another one in 2011.  The 4th Trentino MTB Challenge will be staging seven races between April and September 2012, held in different areas of the region that will allow riders to appreciate the historical and environmental significance of the Italian region.  The inaugural race of 2012 Trentino MTB is scheduled at the end of April and takes place in Val di Non. It will be followed two weeks afterwards by a brand new race in Valle di Ledro, near Lake Garda. In June, the historic race named ‘100 Km dei Forti’ will get on the saddle in Lavarone, located inside the Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna plateau. ‘Lessinia Bike’, in the south eastern part of Trentino region takes place towards the end of July, while the ‘Vecia Ferovia dela Val de Fiemme’ race is scheduled at the beginning of August in Val di Fiemme. The last two races of the series will be staged in Val di Fassa (‘Polartec Val di Fassa Bike’) and in Valsugana (‘3T Bike’), both in September 2012.
